Dustin James Parker, 25, of McAlester, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020 in McAlester.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel.

Dustin James Parker was born on Feb. 25, 1994 in Ada to Rusty and Danielle (LeFlore) Parker.

After graduating high school he attended Eastern State College in Wilburton, where he earned an associate degree in criminal justice.  It is also where he met his future wife, Regina Bargas.  Dustin was an instrumental part and manager of the new Rover Taxi service in McAlester.  He loved his work and loved being able to provide for his family.  Dustin loved to read and enjoyed dancing and singing and was a wonderful father to their 4 children.  He was also a founding member of Oklahomans for Equality, McAlester Chapter.

Dustin is survived by his wife, Regina; 4 children, Alex Hilburn, Natalie Hilburn, Damon Parker and Jacelyn Parker, all of the home; his parents, Rusty and Danielle Parker of Krebs; and a brother, Jonah Parker of Krebs; paternal grandparents, Michael and Jenny Lou Parker; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Rosetta Bargas of McAlester; and a brother-in-law, Kevin Bargas of McAlester.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur, Sr. and Linda LeFlore..
