Ronald E. Wilson, age 56, died Tuesday, November 5, 2015 in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester with the Reverend Chip Lott officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Ronald E. Wilson was born March 30, 1959 in McAlester to Lake E. Wilson, Jr. and Imogene (Barringer) Wilson. He graduated from McAlester High School and received a Bachelors in Business Administration, specializing in Personnel Management at Oklahoma State University. In 2007 he received his Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Liberal Arts from Oklahoma City University. He worked as the Assistant Director of Compensation in the Office of Personnel Management, Manager of Personnel in the Department of Corrections, Director of Human Resources of Oklahoma Health Care Authority and Director of Talent Management for Office of Human Capital Management. He was also loved and respected by his work and church families.

Survivors include his mother, Imogene (Barringer) Wilson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lake Wilson, Jr., grandparents, Lake and Eula Wilson, Payton and Etta Barringer.

Active pallbearers are David Everett, Mike Everett, Jimmy Bowden, Ryan Bowden, Butch Wilson, Dennis Wilson, tim Scribner, Fredrick Thompson and Gary Wansick.
