Yvonne D. Clark, 68, of Haileyville, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at a local nursing center.

Yvonne was born on October 3, 1953 in McAlester to Raymond and Ruby (Boatwright) Thompson.  She was married to the late Raymond Ray Clark on October 4 ^th 1971 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  As most of you know, she was also an amazing nanny, mother and mother-in-law, sister in Christ, sister and so much more to everyone who knew her.

There were times when she had nothing but always made sure her babies were taken care of and we didn't go without.  She was the best mom and nanny and we are blessed we were raised by a god-fearing woman who was tough as nails.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartshorne and enjoyed going to church, singing in the choir and being with family and especially her grandkids.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Loretta Lynn French and husband Randy Lee French, Ray J. Clark and wife Brooke M. Clark, Tina Tucker and husband George Lay; grandchildren, Cody Clark, Ashley Clark and husband Keelynn Mouser, Paul Clark, Carrie Jobe and Levi Posey; great-grandchildren, Corban Ray Mouser and Jameson Mouser; brothers and sisters, Delores Ray and husband Johnny Ray, Chesley Reynolds and wife Bessy Reynolds, Calimay and husband Nacho, Alta Joyce and her late husband Kurk Joyce and John D. Reynolds and wife Helen Reynolds; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ray Clark; son, DeWayne Clark; mother, Ruby Thompson and father, Raymond Thompson; a number of brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be at a later date at First Baptist Church in Hartshorne with Rev. Daniel Miller officiating.
