William Andrew McConnell, 87, of Krebs, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, in Tulsa.  Bill was born on April 14, 1935 in Noley, Ark.  He spent most of his life in McAlester working as a self-employed entrepreneur.  He is best known by most as a used car salesman.  Bill married Margie Hyatt on Nov. 28, 1953, and they had 3 children together.  Bill served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie; 2 sons, James "Jimmy" McConnell and Ron McConnell; and his mother, Zelma McConnell.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.
