William Albert LaMere, Sr., 70, of Hartshorne, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, in Tulsa.  The family will be planning a family memorial for William at a later date.

William LaMere, Sr. was born on March 1, 1953 in Keysville, New York to Clarence LaMere and Marion Wentworth LaMere.  He was well known in the area as a small engine mechanic, and mainly repairing boats and boat motors.

William is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Hallowell; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill LaMere, Jr. and Meri-Jo; grandchildren, Johnny Ray Hallowell, Damien Hinkler, Isiah LaMere, William LaMere, III, Edward LaMere, Sr., Devyn Clarence LaMere, and Ella Faythe LaMere; great grandchildren, Edward LaMere, Jr., Rehtaeh LaMere, and William LaMere, IV; a sister, Cynthia LaMere; and a sister-in-law, Mary LaMere.
