William George "Bill" Dale, 88, of McAlester, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at McAlester Regional Health Center.  The family has made arrangements for cremation and will announce a memorial service in the near future.

Bill Dale was born on July 21, 1937 in Krebs, Oklahoma to Frank Dale and Theresa (Ansier) Dale-Smartt.  Bill worked at the McAlester Post Office as a postal clerk for over 25 years, until his retirement in 1996.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Linda Wallace; grandchildren, Meagan Waymire and Jonathon Wallace; great grandchildren, Aiden, Aubree, and Maverick; a sister, Pat Nickerson; a niece, Lisa Nash.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Cirar; and a daughter, Sheila Adamo.
