Obituary

Wendy Kay Lout was born on January 3,1950 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Charles and

Rheba Hollis Lout. She grew up in the McAlester area, along with her older sister, Pyble

Cook.

Wendy graduated from McAlester High School in 1968. After high school, she

married her high school sweetheart, Mark McCoy. Together they had 2 sons, Casey and

Chad McCoy. Wendy also welcomed a daughter, Terra Campbell. She was extremely

proud of all of her children and loved them immensely.

Wendy went to beauty school and worked as a beautician for some time. She

was very artistic, creator of many things, and a wonderful cook. Later, she went on to

complete her Bachelor's degree at Eastern Ok State College where she became a

registered nurse. She worked and retired as an RN from Latimer County Home Health

in Wilburton, Oklahoma where she was actively involved with her patients.

Wendy was blessed with 5 grandchildren who called her Nonnie. She was most

proud of them and cared deeply for each one of them. She lovingly created one of a

kind birthday cakes for them each year. She always rose to the challenge and did not

disappoint.

Wendy was a people person, very caring, and non-judgmental. She was always

willing to listen and lend a helping hand to others in need. Wendy had Jesus in her heart

and would quote scripture as comfort during troubling times.

Wendy is survived by her children, Casey and wife Lisa McCoy, Terra Campbell,

grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Zachary, and Rylea McCoy, Story Campbell, a sister

Pyble and husband, Larry Cook, and nephews Monte and Rusty Cook.

She is preceded in death by her son, Chad Eric Mccoy, a husband, Mark Mccoy,

and her parents Charles and Rheba Lout.

Family visitation will be at Brumley-Mills in McAlester on Saturday, August 28th,

2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at Brumley-Mills Chapel on Sunday, August 29th,

2021 at 2:00 PM with graveside services immediately following at Memory Gardens

Cemetery in McAlester, Ok. Services officiated by Casey McCoy.

Active pallbearers will be Caleb McCoy, Zachary McCoy, Monte Cook, Rusty Cook, Tony Pilkerton and Thomas Lessing.  Honorary pallbearers will be

Rod Halford and Dwain Witt.
