Wanda Maxine Woodward, 90, of McAlester, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 in McAlester.  There will be a visitation on Monday, January 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne.

Wanda Woodward was born on April 19, 1935 in Pine Valley, Oklahoma To Ernest and Modest (Pendleton) Mayo.  She grew up in Krebs, and has lived in McAlester since 2006.  She enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, dining out, and watching TV.

Wanda is survived by her children, George Miller, Teresa Miller-Brown, Tommy Joe Woodward, Betsy Woodward, and Alan Woodward; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Fayrene Henry and husband Earl, and Sue Brummett; a brother, Lee Mayo and wife Bobbi; and several nieces and nephews.
