In loving memory of Vickie Lou (Eagleton) Jameson, age 66 of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, November 13th at McAlester Regional Health Center. The family will greet friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, November 17th at Brumley Mills Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for November 18th at 10:00 am, at Brumley Mills. Vickie wished to be cremated and laid to rest with the love of her life. Grave side services will be at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons; Keyton, Wyett, Kaison, Jace, Maverik, Momo, Jaxon.
Vickie was born on February 16th,1958, in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was the beloved daughter of Donald Eagleton Sr and Patsy Eagleton Tucker. She grew up in McAlester and Graduated from McAlester Highschool in 1976. She married her soul mate Roy Jameson in 1979 in Blocker. They had 2 children, Clinton and Nicole, and together they created a beautiful family filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. As a mother she poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children, ensuring they felt loved and supported in any activity they participated in.
Vickie dedicated 35 remarkable years at Walmart, where she was known for her contagious laugh, infectious smile, and always finding an ear to listen to her brag about her grandbabies. Outside of work Vickie enjoyed spending time with family, watching her grandchildren in their sports activities, especially watching her granddaughter Brooky playing basketball. She will be deeply missed, leaving an irreplaceable void in the lives of those she loved.
Vickie is survived by her children, Clinton and Jennifer Jameson of Hartshorne, Nicole Jameson, and spouse Jason of McAlester, stepdaughter Shala and Mark Harper of McAlester, her grandchildren, Brooky Surginer, Jaxon Crittenden, Kaison Simmons, Wyett Jameson, Jace Jameson, Maverik Jameson, Momo Jameson, and Keyton Jameson. Two brothers, Don Eagleton Jr, and Phillip Eagleton of Claremore,stepmother Linda Eagleton a stepsister Mendy and Gary Stone of Claremore; an uncle, Jimmy McInnis and wife Sandy; several nieces, nephews and aunts; and a special friend Pete Peterson of McAlester. She was preceeded in death by her true love, Roy Jameson; her mother Patsy Eagleton Tucker; her father Don Eagleton Sr.; her stepfather Charles Tucker, her brother Kyle Eagleton, a special brother-in-law Mike Mefford; and an uncle, George McInnis.
