Timothy Wayne Lake, 68, of Stigler, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, July 9 th at his home. Tim was born on July 5 th 1954 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Jack W. Lake and Frances (Reed).
Tim grew up in the McAlester area and attended McAlester High School and Eastern State College. He worked in the technology field his entire career working with main frame computers moving electricity to the northern states and completing his career at FMC technologies as a field engineer where he worked with computer-based robotics. His knowledge and skills included software, hardware, installation and training on the products. Tim traveled throughout the United States with assignments in Australia and Brazil. He is best known for his quick retorts, logical thinking and genuine and deep love for his family.
Tim is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patricia; children Todd Lake and wife Sharmah, Nolen Lake, AnnMarie French and husband Timothy, William Cook; grandchildren Airel and husband Jesse Baer, Dean and wife Carlie Lambert, Kyra and husband Justin Cantrell, Arthur James (AJ) and Annika Lake, Brookelyn and Evan Lake, Evelyn and William Cook, Kevin Cox, Christopher Emrick and Nick Byram; Great grandchildren Vera, Wesley and Hazel: Sister-in-law Patricia L. Lake, brother Mark Lake and wife Mariella; sister Jackie and husband Terry Bryan; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jeffrey and granddaughter Mia Ann.
Donations in Tim's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to plant a memorial tree, please visit the Sympathy Store on the Brumley-Mills Funeral Home website.
The family welcomes friends to attend a memorial service at Central Christian Church, 920 E. Central Avenue, McAlester, OK on Saturday, July 16h at 12:00 noon with a reception to follow in the followship hall at the church.
