Terry Lee Haskins, was born October 23, 1952 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He was raised in Bache, Oklahoma along with six brothers and one sister.
He worked in oil field, coal mines, and underground mining in Wyoming, and managed housing apartments for Rock Island Railroad in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. He received a degree in Accounting Business from Oklahoma University, then began working for an accounting firm in Chelsea then McAlester. He opened a small business (The Y Drive-Inn) in Hartshorne, Oklahoma, along with his partner, Johnny Reagan. Finally, Terry settled with an Accounting Firm in Duncanville, Texas for over 30 years. Terry enjoyed long conversations about the Bible, and loved witnessing to family and friends, and also enjoyed long nights watching football. Terry was a kind, pleasant and giving man who would do for others before doing for himself. He will truly be missed.
Terry is survived by his children, Regina Haskins and Edwin Mitchell, and Jill and Craig Walsh; five grandchildren, Gabrielle Edwards, Justyce and Russel Ferrari, Kaleb and Victoria Stowers, Tiana and Justin Folk and Tanner Haskins; eleven great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nikoha, Gunner, Cayden, Rhett, Rhiver, Ian, Leta, Eli, Elizibeth and Aeidan; Terry had six brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jerry and Bonnie Keith, James "Wally" Haskins, Donnie Haskins, Mark and Janet Haskins, Ronnie Haskins, and one sister, Shirley Haskins; and forever family Beckie Keith, along with many nieces and nephews; and his beloved lifelong friend, Johnny Reagan.
Terry is preceded in death by his father and mother, Troy and Ella Haskins; one brother, James "Wally" Haskins; his grandfather, and grandmother, Noel and Goldie Keith and Jesse and Lola Haskins.
Active pallbearers will be Cody Haskins, Carter Haskins, Jeremy Keith, Edwin Mitchell, Kaleb Stowers and Russel Ferrari. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Haskins, Mark Haskins and Ronnie Haskins. Flower Girls will be Gabrielle Edwards, Justyce Ferrari, Victoria Stowers, Shania Burkhalter, Nikoha Ferrari and Nevaeh Harvey.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9 th at Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery.
