Terisa Leah
Tate
Jun 18, 1960 — Mar 29, 2023
McAlester
Terisa Leah (Hatfield) Tate, age 62, of McAlester, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the ones she loved. Terisa was the daughter of Perry Hatfield and Mary DiSilvestro and she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Tate; brother, Steven Hatfield and her father, Perry Hatfield.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Brandy; granddaughter, Patricia; mother, Mary; and brothers, Perry Hatfield, James Hatfield and Joseph DiSilvestro, along with aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and cousins.
Terisa was born and raised in McAlester and attended McAlester High School and was a faithful member of Northside Assembly of God Church. After high school she married Jerry Tate and moved to Texas where they began their life and raised their beautiful daughter. Upon returning to McAlester, she began working at Walmart where she made a host of friends. She truly loved life and always had a smile to share and was ready to help anyone in need. She loved her daughter and granddaughter with all her might and loved spending hours with her family and playing Farkle with her mother or anyone that was unlucky enough to take her on.
Terisa had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way with her wit and her love of Christ. Her love of family was apparent at the end as she would say "Don't worry about me, I'll be Just fine." She knew where her next destination was.
She found tremendous comfort in her Lord and Savior and was at peace to be going home.
Rest well Little Sis. We will miss you very much.
