Suzy Pitchford, 61, of Hartshorne, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at her private residence.  She is reunited with her father, Frank Cooter, who preceded her in death.

There will be no funeral service, with her only child opting to lay her cremated remains to rest in a private ceremony between mother and son.

Suzy was born on September 22, 1959 in Hartshorne to her mother, Deanna Cooter and her father, Frank Cooter.  On June 14, 1991 Suzy and George Dollins welcomed their pride and joy into the world, their one and only son, Tyler Dollins.  She lived the majority of her life in Oklahoma, but her family's life journey would lead them to Colorado, her beloved honorary home state.  She pursued a higher education and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma with her professional career being dedicated to banking.  In more recent years, after she "clocked out" of the bank, she would "clock in" to her most rewarding job of being Nonna to her grandson, Greyson.  Her son and grandson were the greatest joys of her life and she was immensely proud of them.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Cooter, and her beloved adopted Colorado father, Joseph Fiore.

She is survived by her husband, Warner Pitchford, affectionately referred to as her "Cappy."  The highlight of their week was their dance date nights in their living room, often with a tune from The Eagles playing in the background.  She also leaves behind a mother, her son, a grandson, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frankie and Debbie Cooter, and Timmy and Penni Cooter, a big Italian family and a wealth of friends that love her dearly.

Her presence will be missed, but while Warner kept her dance moves sharp, there is joy to be found in that she is dancing with her daddy once again.
