On August 20, 2021; this world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend of many, and especially a daughter of the Most High God!

Suzanne Pearl Horstman was born on January 5, 1947 to John and Virginia Potts in Thermopolis Wyoming.Sue married the "love of her life", Michael David Horstman, on November 11, 1961 in Thermopolis Wyoming.

They moved to Muse Oklahoma the following year where she enjoyed her role as a homemaker, raising her six children and mothering many more. Granny Sue, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed crocheting, canning and cooking (If you left Granny Sue's house hungry, it was your own fault because she always had a hot, warm meal for anyone and everyone who stopped by).  Many Saturdays and Sundays she could be found hosting a large gathering of family and friends.

In 1963 Sue was led to the Lord by her mother-in-law ( Mamaw ) and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.  From there forward Sue led many to the Lord. Granny Sue always said "my one hope is that my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren accept salvation and make it to heaven." She has left behind a grand legacy for us to follow and to help fulfil her promise.  Sue began working outside the home in 1981 where she touched many more lives in here 20 plus years at the Talihina Veteran's Center.

Anyone who knew her will tell you that Granny Sue was a Proverbs 31 woman, "a wife of noble character where her children arise and call her blessed." She was more precious than rubies to her family."Granny Sue's greatest joys were her 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren!  Sue fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7) She also encouraged many others to "pray through!"

Granny Sue passed from her earthly body to her heavenly home, on August 20, 2021 at 10:29 PM. She said that her beloved Mike (Papa) was coming to take her home and that she would be waiting to greet her family in Heaven.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mike, her Mom, her Dad and her grandson Nathan.

She is survived by: son Michael and wife Regina; Daughter Debra and husband Maynard; son Mark and wife Anette; daughter Patty; daughter Valerie and husband Brad; son Scott and wife Jaime; grandchildren, Josh; Ty and wife Kristen; Laci and husband E.J.; Trey and wife Tiffany; Elizabeth and husband Mark; Chris; Nick and wife Kendra; Jennifer and husband Patrick; Johnathan; Joni; Kyle; Whitney; Sean and wife Maddie; Jessah; Kyle and wife Stephanie; and Kelly; great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Hank, Noah, Jake, Savanah, Keely, Kylee, Aire Bella, Atlas, Bryson, Hunter, and Jacen; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Dolores Potts of Muse, OK; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Jim Soules of Fruitvale, TX, Sandy and Tom Putman of Muse, OK, Jeanie and Ken Thompson of Talihina, OK and Cathy Hasting of Grand Saline, TX.

Services will be held at Hartshorne First Assembly with Rev Scott Horstman, Rev Jeff Mattox, Rev Darrell Brien, and Rev Joseph Mullins officiating.

Visitation will be at the Hartshorne Assembly of God on Monday, August 23 ^rd from 6-8 PM

Homegoing Services at Hartshorne Assembly of God at 2 PM Tuesday, August 24 ^th .

Private Committal with immediate family will be held at New Home Cemetery following Homegoing Services

Pallbearers will be sons; grandsons; sons-in-law; Joe David King; Justin James; Jimmy Garrett; and Jimmy Don Wilson.
