Sondra Kay Tucker, 68, of Dow, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, at McAlester Reginal Health Center.  A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester.

Sondra Kay Tucker was born on Dec. 17, 1953 in Holdenville to Bobby "Jerry" Lipe Sr. and Ina Pearl (Bagwell) Lipe.  She grew up in Holdenville and married Paul Tucker on May 11, 2001.  They have made their home in Dow for over 20 years.  For many years, she and her husband Paul, have travelled the rodeo circuit providing a ministry, the Lord's Cavalry Rodeo Ministry, for all the cowboys and rodeo workers.  They were also active with the Christian Motorcycle Association for many years… Sondra also stayed busy with many other activities, such as sewing, crafts, cooking, and re-finishing furniture.  And it wasn't often she would be without her cup of coffee.

Sondra is survived by her husband, Paul Tucker; her children, Amanda Babb and husband Gene, Ina Paige Tucker and her partner Alec Suter; and Jesse Brown; grandchildren, Dalton "Hammer" Babb, Nathen "Butter" Babb and partner ReAnna Bellville, and Tapanga "Lucy" Babb; a sister, Nita Gilbert; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mona Lipe; a brother, Bobby Lipe, Jr.; a nephew, John Gilbert, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Betty McDonald; an aunt and 2 uncles, Sheila Haskell, Clell Bagwell, and Joe Lipe.
