Shirley Ann Munholland-Nave, 77, of McAlester, passed away Saturday, February 26, at her home in McAlester.  Graveside funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, officiated by Monte Busby.  Pallbearers are Michael Leibfried, Steven Wade Nave, Anthony Nave, James Gorman, Jerry Durant, Ray Durant and Jeremy Durant.  Honorary pallbearers are Jason Wilson and Garrett Wilson.

Shirley Nave was born on August 13, 1944 in McAlester to Everett and Mary (Oaks) Munholland.  She grew up here and has lived here all her life.  She enjoyed going to play bingo and was involved in bowling here for many years, but her most notable and enjoyable activity was caring for her family.

Shirley is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Dale Nave; her children, Shelia Creel, Jeffery Nave and Steven Nave;10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Linda Munholland; and a special friend, Kathy McDaniel.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Daniel Glenn Leibfried; a brother, Troy Munholland; and a sister, Della Mae Degraffenreid.
