Scarlet R. Williams, 54, of Krebs, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, at her home in Krebs after a long battle with cancer. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 1, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ulan Cemetery, with Pastor Jeremy Lalli officiating. Pallbearers will be sons, Danny, Sheldon, Dalton, and Clayton Teague, Jasper Jackson, Waylon White, Doug Baker and Cody Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley "Bunk" Williams, Joey Lalli, Bob Pate, Larry Allford, and(from heaven) Shane Chapman. Due to her love of animals, it is requested that donations be made to the local animal shelter or to PAWS.
Scarlet Williams was born on Nov. 7, 1967 in McAlester to Paul L. and Thelma L. (Watson) Williams. She attended school at Savanna. She was a homemaker in her early years and later worked for the Choctaw Nation and owned her own cleaning service until she became unable to work. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, which were the light of her life. She also loved spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers, and had a great love for all animals. She is survived by her sons, Danny Teague, Sheldon Teague, Dalton Teague and Jade, Clayton Teague, and her "fur-baby" Sadie Mae; grandchildren Mackenzie Cantrell, Jaelynn Teague, Peyton Teague, Carsyn James, Coda Thomas, Charlie Teague, Gunner Teague, Keagan Teague, Riot Teague, Kaden Teague and Colton Teague; and several very special "fur-babies" grandchildren; her mother, Thelma Williams; a brother, Wesley "Bunk" Williams; a sister, Marilyn Lalli and Joey; and very special nieces and nephews; and family friends, Doug Baker, Gavin Christman, Clay Wageman, and Tommy Martin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Paul L. Williams; a brother, Ashley D. Williams, and a son by heart, Shane Chapman.
