Royal (Bubber) Oram Williams of Pinetop, Oklahoma passed away at the age of 90 on May 7, 2023 in McAlester, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. Bubber was born on October 21, 1932 in Kiowa Oklahoma to William (Bud) O. and Clara A. Williams. Bubber graduated from Kiowa High School in 1950 and married Juanita J. Hobbs on December 1, 1951 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Bubber retired from the McAlester Navy Ammunition Plant and was a lifetime rancher. He was a talented carpenter and built the first family home in Kiowa and later with some help built the family home in Pinetop. He was a longtime member of the Kiowa athletic booster club and the Kiowa Round Up Club. During the Kiowa Rodeos, he was often in charge of the concession stand. He loved attending sporting events and watching his children and grandchildren play sports. When it was Kiowa High School basketball playoff time, Bubber and his friends were on the road never missing a playoff game. He loved helping his granddaughters at the Pittsburg playdays on weekends during the summers. Also, during the summers, grandchildren would come to visit the farm and Bubber would show them about farm and ranch life. When it was coon season, Bubber would often go with Terry, Robert Daniel and Jack English hunting. If it was just Terry hunting at the farm, Bubber and Juanita would go with him. In his younger years, he played in the bowling league with his brother-in-law Bobby in McAlester. He and Juanita often went roller skating with family members and their children. Bubber and Juanita were big supporter of McAlester Baseball where he and Juanita helped work the concession stand every season and t-shirt stand during Junior Sunbelt. He helped drive a suburban load of McAlester Diamond Dolls to the away games. He attended the Kiowa Church of Christ where he was baptized into Christ at the age of 82 along with his grandson and granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Juanita J. Williams of the home; three daughters, Glynda Smith and husband Ron of Southlake, Texas, Brenda Porter and husband James of McAlester, Oklahoma, Nancy Hughes and husband Randy of McAlester, Oklahoma; one son Terry Williams and wife T.K. of Tontitown, Arkansas; 22 Grand Children, Stephanie Dyniewski and husband Josh of Colleyville, Texas, Melissa Smith, of Denton, Texas, Amanda Dyniewski and husband Justin of North Richland, Hills Texas, Kim Smith and fiancé Aaron Bradley of Hurst, Texas, Heather Horton and husband Brad of McAlester, Oklahoma, Chris Porter of Pittsburg, Oklahoma, Brett Porter and wife Lauren of Pittsburg, Oklahoma, Kyle Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tracy Weir and husband Warren of Oklahoma City, Mike Amaro of San Antonio, Texas, Erik Hughes of Noble, Oklahoma, Holly Bennett and husband Michael of Indianola, Oklahoma, Hannah Martin and husband Jon Andrew of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Hilary Ary and husband Micheal of McAlester Oklahoma. 22 Great Grandchildren: Kristen Smith, Trevor Smith, Kaylie Dyniewski, Evan Dyniewski, Blake Dyniewski, Emma Dyniewski, Will Dyniewski, Lucas Dyniewski, Caylin Horton, Parker Horton, Johnathan Porter, Kenna Porter, Silas Porter, Cooper Weir, Madison Weir, Hayden Towell, Ryleigh Martin, Kyler Martin, Eli Bennett, Chisum Bennett, Taylen Ary, and Remi Ary. Sisters-in-laws, Geneva Vaughan and husband Bobby, Sue Hobbs, Ethel Hobbs-Huggins, Mae Bell, Janelle Beaver and husband Everett; brother-in-law, Leonard Hobbs; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bud) O. and Clara Williams; parents-in-law, William (Bill) and Lucy Hobbs; sisters, Virginia Davis, Minnie Williams, and brother Loyal Williams and wife Faye; brothers-in-law, Francis Hobbs, Lloyd Hobbs, Eugene McDugle, Talmadge Bell, and, Wendall White; sisters-in-law, Alice McDugle, Gladys White, and Nola Hobbs; great-granddaughter, Jamie Porter.

Memorial services will be 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Kiowa Church of Christ with Danny Huntsman officiating.
