Rosie Inez Talley, age 77 died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at her home in McAlester.

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Grove Cemetery with the Reverend Jason Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral of McAlester.

Inez Talley was born on August 9, 1938 in Little Onion (Bugtussle, Oklahoma to Limon Ted and Mary Lee (Thrasher) Harrison. She grew up in Krebs and has lived here all her life. She married John Talley on October 27, 1956. He preceded her in death. Inez worked for many years as a seamstress for Seamprufe, Henson-Kickerknick, Komar and also worked as a home health provider. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and quilting and loved to go fishing. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her children John Alfred Talley and wife Ruth Ann of Arkansas, Billy Talley and wife Lavern, Sandra Sepe and husband John, Gary Talley, Tisha Talley and Leona Talley all of McAlester; grandchildren, Sharon Alexander, Billy Talley, Jr., Jessica Talley, Charlotte Wray, Lester F. Wray, Barbara Kathren Johnson, Desirae Long, Maranda Long, John D. Tyler Long and Cory Allen Long; great grandchildren, Racheal Alexander, Ashley Alexander, Shannon Alexander, Zailee Wray, Grace Lynn Armstrong, Addyson Armstrong, Kasandra Garret, Brayden Kyle Talley, Jayden Lee Talley; brothers and sisters, Earnest Harrison and wife Shirley of McAlester, Donna Bell Miller of McAlester, George William Harrison and wife Carol of Maud, Juanita Watts and husband Tommy of McAlester, Wanda Gray and husband Cody of Mississippi, Jessie Lee Harrison and wife Kathey of McAlester, Wayne Harrison of Krebs.

She was preceded in death by a son, Carl David Talley, her parents, 2 brothers, Gene Harrison and Tilden Harrison and a sister, Rosett York.

Active pallbearers are Lyndon Armstrong, Rory Long, Josh Falis, Tommy Watts, Dale Watts and Dustin Mullins.

Honorary pallbearers are Pete York, Rodney Harrison and Dalton Kinnamon.
