Roger W. Smith, 74, of Talihina, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Beare Manor in Hartshorne.

Roger was born on November 18, 1948 in Edgewood, Texas to Billy William and Ina (Henson) Smith. He moved from Texas to Oklahoma in 1999. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Survivors include a longtime companion, Mary James; daughters, Brenda Diaz and Rhonda Jones; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jeff Smith; sisters, Shelia, Joyce and Cathy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Annette.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Sulphur Cemetery, south of Hartshorne.
