Rodney Gene Dobson, 61, of Hartshorne, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2022 at his home.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.  There will be no formal funeral, only a private family burial.

Rodney was born on December 18, 1961 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Harold and Judy (Parker) Dobson.  He attended Hartshorne schools and worked for Kibois.  He was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his mother, Judy Dobson; brother, Ricky Joe Dobson; aunt, Betty Cassada; nephews, Garrick Dobson and Bryson Hall; niece and spouse, Hailey (Dobson) Wackerly and husband Ty Wackerly; great-nieces, Heidi Wackerly, Zoey Wackerly, Harper Wackerly and Tysie Wackerly; numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dobson; infant brother, Brian Dobson; grandparents, Bill and Velma Dobson, Hazel and Sam Moye, and Charlie Parker.
