Reva Jeannie Jones, 81, of McAlester, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital North in Oklahoma City.  Arrangements for cremation have been completed with no services scheduled at this time.

Jeannie Jones was born on April 18, 1943 in Texas to Robet Porter Renfrow and Rosa Gertrude (Adams) Renfrow.  She grew up in Texas and married Melvin "Gene" Jones.  He was a truck driver so they moved around a little, but Texas was home.  While they lived in Arizona, Jeannie operated a small food truck for several years.  Jeannie is survived by a sister, Veda Ringo; 3 grandchildren, Lance, Reagan, and Trevor; a daughter-in-law, Jamie Jones; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; and 3 sons, Fredrick, Toby, and Rodney.
