Rebecca "Becky" Kaye Rogers-Epps, 66, of Haileyville, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Born March 30, 1955 to Gerald Don and Zona Mae Rogers.  She graduated high school in the largest graduating class to ever come through McAlester High School in 1973.  She is the mother of three girls, Christina Kaye Osborne-Moore, Jennifer Kaye Osborne-Meyers (deceased), and Stephanie Kaye Osborne Lenardo.

Becky and her first husband Pat Osborne managed a T-shirt shop in Vinita Oklahoma, and later a Bed and Breakfast in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  After returning to McAlester, Becky managed the Meeting Place Restaurant, and then Plum Sugar for Children. She later married Alan Epps on January 8, 2001 in Fort Smith Arkansas.

She had a lifelong love of children.  Her hobbies included a passion for collectibles such as Beanie Babies, Precious Moments, and Marie Osmond Dolls.

She was a dare-devil— always wanting to ride the tallest rollercoaster and the fastest, scariest ride at the fair.  (She dove off the highway bridge over Number Nine Landing, and was suitably in trouble from her mother.) Even as a little girl, she rode bareback behind her older brothers, despite the falls and lumps.

Her brother Bob, who preceded her in death, was willing to confess and take whippings for things he hadn't done, to save his little sister from her adventurous nature.

As a mother, she was full of fun and energy, making sure her kids got supervised cruising (taking them and their friends cruising on main street in her van, making the turnaround at Sonic.) She made sure they traveled and went to concerts, and was always willing to include her extended family and friends.

Becky had a smile on her face for everyone. She was always willing to be an enthusiastic helper for any project that friends or family were doing.  During the pandemic she called her mother daily, and her family regularly to make sure everyone was okay.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Epps; mother, Zona Rogers; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Diane Rogers; sister, Cindy Rogers; children and spouses, Christy and Toby Moore, Stephanie and Chris Lenardo, Brandon and Christine Epps, Rachel and Jimmy McNeelis; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Gary Patrick Osborne; father, Don Rogers; daughter, Jennifer Kay Osborne-Meyer; brother, Robert Lynn Rogers and mother-in-law, Margie Epps.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23 ^rd at First Baptist Church of McAlester with Brother Terry Sensibaugh and Brother Terry Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester.
