Obituary

Pearl Inez (Hodges) Peaslee, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025.  She was born in Anderson, Indiana on November 12th, 1933, to Mary (Jeffries) Hodges and Joseph Hodges.  Pearl was married to Raymond Peaslee, and he preceded her in death on March 18th, 1983.  Pearl lived in Osgood, Indiana until 1979 when she and Raymond moved to Hartshorne, Oklahoma.  She worked at the US Shoe Corporation in Osgood for several years but her true calling was childcare.  She babysat for a multitude of families in the Osgood and Hartshorne areas through 2024.  Many of these children, although now grown with families of their own, still stayed in touch with her.

Pearls greatest accomplishment in her life was her love for her family.  She was so proud of all her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Jacques of San Marco, Texas, Kay (Kevin) Thompson of Versailles, Indiana, Sandy Roan of Hartshorne Oklahoma.  Her sons, Russell (Darlene) Dannettelle of Clearwater, Florida, Randy (Rae) Dannettelle of Trabuco Canyon, California and Ray (Dawn) Peaslee of Hartshorne Oklahoma.

She leaves behind 41 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, her brother Arthur Hodges, her son Robert Dannettelle, her daughter Kathy Durst, her granddaughter Debra Johnson and her great grandson Dylan Lightle.

Services will be held at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne, Oklahoma.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m.  She will be interred in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hartshorne, Oklahoma.
