Pauline Holloway, 94, of Hartshorne, passed away Friday, May 17, at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee.  The family will welcome friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.  Funeral services are set for Thursday, May 23, at 10:00 a.m. at The First Church of the Nazarene in McAlester, with Terry Barker and J. T. Carnell officiating.  Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery near Haywood.  Pallbearers will be Allen Holloway, Stephen Holloway, Ron Holloway, Nathan Holloway, Bryce Holloway, and Josh Williams.  Honorary pallbearers are Darla Williams and Mariah Holloway.

Pauline Holloway was born on Dec. 23, 1929 in Shady Valley, Okla to Frank and Frances (Cagle) Schiller.  She grew up in the Hartshorne area and has lived there all her life, except for 10 years in Garden City, Ks.  She married Allen G. Holloway on Jan. 28, 1948, and he preceded her in death.  Pauline's work career has always had something to do with helping people.  She worked as a home provider for the sick and elderly; she was a foster grandparent at the program at Jones Academy, and had her own in-home day care for several years.  In her spare-time she enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, and music.  She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Pauline is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Allen Holloway, Stephen Holloway and wife Pam, and Ronald Holloway and wife Reba; grandchildren are Nathan Holloway, Darla Williams and husband Josh, Bryce Holloway, and Mariah Holloway; a sister-in-law, Laverne Holloway and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 6 brothers, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
