Paul Lester Peckio, 64, of Haileyville, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at his home in Haileyville.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 28th at 4:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.

Paul Peckio was born on July 19, 1958 in Leonard, Texas to Jimmy Joe Peckio and Shirley (Burks) Peckio-Scott.  He grew up in McAlester and attended McAlester schools.  Paul worked for the Otis family, first, MEECO Marina, and then under the name of MDI, building docks all around the country, until his retirement after 34 years.  Paul enjoyed going fishing and was an exceptional pool player.

Paul is survived by his father, Jimmy Joe Peckio; sisters, Jobeth Lindsey, Pat Moinette, Theresa Rehtus, Cindy Hamilton, Brenda Duncan, and Jamie Dawn Kelley; brothers, Delbert Dickson and Wayne Hollingsworth; aunts, Kay Ligon and Kathy Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley.
