Patricia Rosetta "Pat" Boyd, 80, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 in McAlester.  Funeral services will be Friday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester, with Pastor James Harris officiating.  Burial will follow at Ti Valley Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jon Madden, Bo Hendrix, Zachary Ellis, William Barker, George Curtsinger and Chad Swaffard.  Honorary pallbearers are David Hendrix, Gary Simmons, Aaron Kelley, William Striethorst, Donald Breckenridge and Harold Breckenridge.  Viewing will be Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.

Pat Boyd was born on January 17, 1946 in McAlester to Clarence and Helen Dovie (James) Breckenridge.  She was a life-long resident of Krebs, until recently when she moved to McAlester to live with her daughter.  She was married to Truman Mack Boyd, who preceded her in death in 2010.  At that time, they had been married for 44 years.  Pat worked as a child-care teacher for over 20 years.  In her free-time she enjoyed working word-find puzzles, cooking, and, especially, spending time with her family.  She was a devoted member of the Pathway to Truth Church.  Pat is survived by her daughters, Hope Hendrix and husband David, and Texie L. DeLana and partner Gary Simmons; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany L. Taylor, Cheyanne N. Ellis, Candace P. Knight, Mandy Stonehocker and Bo Hendrix; 7 great grandchildren, Braylee Beshear, Aerionna Taylor, Caelen Hendrix, Josiah Stonehocker, Preston Stonehocker, Reighen Hendrix and Grayson Hendrix; and a brother, Harold Breckenridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack; her parents; a daughter, Helen Boyd; a grandson, Dakota Stark; a brother, Jack Breckenridge; and 3 sisters, Shirley Thornton, Mary Lingle, and Phyllis Striethorst.
