Neil Wayne Bibbs, 79, of Norman, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne with Phil Lay officiating. Active pallbearers will be Rick Chapman, George Mitchell, Shane Stevens, Brandon Brookins, Mike Ray and Noah Cage. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mike Tripp, DMV, Royce Beams, Randal Beams, Jason Taylor, Tommy Nash, Austin Bibbs, and Pinky Peace.

Neil was born on November 19, 1946 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Jess James Bibbs and Mayme Della (McCullar) Bibbs. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He married Shirley Ann Cheatham on December 26, 1970 in Haileyville, Oklahoma. He worked and was top salesman for Western Veterinary Supply and retired after 30+ years to take care of his wife, Shirley.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Derrick and Jennifer Bibbs, and Todd Cope; grandchildren, Abigail Bibbs, Adelyn Bibbs, Austin Bibbs, and Mackenzie Varner; great-grandson, Stetson Blake Bibbs; great-granddaughter, Avery Mae Cage; niece and special family member, Rhonda and Randy Beams; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Bibbs; his parents; brother, James Bibbs and a sister, Sharon (Bibbs) Strange.
