Nancy Lee Jameson

Nancy Lee Jameson, 98, of McAlester, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, in McAlester. Graveside funeral services are set for Monday, Oct. 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the Massey Cemetery near Crowder.

Nancy Lee Jameson was born on April 23, 1928 in Crowder to Thomas Duff and Lorene (McCarley) Duff. She grew up in the Crowder/Blocker area. She married Jack Jameson in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1994. Nancy worked at several different places over the years, including the old Grand Market, and for Bill Webber in the county commissioners office, as well as other short-term work, but was mainly a wife and mother. Probably her favorite past-time activity was shopping.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Carol Stipe; a daughter-in-law, Monica Ford; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a special friend, Jerry Coats. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; a son, Gary Ford; a brother, Thomas Duff; and a sister, Ola Mae Parker.
