We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Matthew Ryan Lenardo, who was born on July 2, 1981, and passed away on February 20, 2025, in McAlester, Oklahoma.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, March 1, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the McAlester Expo Center.

Matthew was born to Carl and Debbie Lenardo in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a kind-hearted and generous soul who always put others before himself.

He was preceded in death by his father Carl. He is survived by his mother, Debbie, brother Sean, sister Nicki and husband Jamie, grandmother Helen, uncle Roy, his five children: Kylie, Silver, Jayden, Landen, and Madison, niece Skyler and husband James, nephews Noah and Conrad, best friends Olivia and Vince, as well as many other friends and extended family members that loved him dearly. He was a devoted man who loved his family more than anything in the world. He was a beloved father, son, brother and friend.

Matthew's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends and he will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Per Matthews wishes he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread on top of a mountain in Yellowstone National Park.
