Mary Elizabeth Bivin, 78, of Krebs, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026 in Oklahoma City.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. A graveside service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester with Pastor Stephen Hale officiating.

Mary was born on April 4, 1948 in Shidler, Oklahoma to John Kenneth and Betty (Kramer) Welch. She grew up in Shidler and graduated high school in Wichita, Kansas in s1966. She married Douglas Clark Bivin on May 5, 1973 in Shidler, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had a deep devotion to God. She was also part of the Bible Study Group at the church. She also loved to read.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Michael Massaro; sister-in-law, Marilyn Brownridge; and several special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on January 31, 2025.
