Obituary

Martha Ann Williams, 77, of Haileyville, passed away Friday, June 18, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City.  Viewing will be Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the family visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be Monday, June 21, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne, with Pastor Scott Horstman officiating.  Burial will follow at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery.

Martha Williams was born on Sept. 25, 1943 in Hartshorne to Fred and Lila (Capers) Templeton.  She grew up in Hartshorne.  As a young adult, she lived in Ft. Smith before settling down in Wilburton with her family. Eventually Martha returned to Haileyville where she lived her remaining years.  She was married to Bill Williams who preceded her in death.  She loved to play the piano, and whether it was rodeo, football, baseball, basketball or soft ball, she was always her kids and grandkids number one fan.  She also loved to go fishing and always enjoyed dancing and working on arts and crafts.

Martha is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Ray, Jr. and Tina Scott of Haileyville, Dale and Michele Scott of Edmond, and Duane "Bam" and Tammy Scott of Wilburton; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Elmo  Collins, Johnny Ruth Wilson, Sandra and Larry Johnson, and Nancy and Calvin Mattingley; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Belva Templeton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Williams, sisters, Bea Williams, Sarah Royal, and Janet Albright; and a brother, Robert Templeton.
