Marsha Lynn Ellis, 73, of McAlester, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 in McAlester.

A memorial service is set for Tuesday, October 21st, at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in McAlester, with Pastor Chip Lott officiating.

Marsha was born on February 16, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas to Weldon and Doris (Long) Elliott.  She grew up in that area where she eventually met her future husband, Delbert Ellis.  They were married on February 12, 1981.  Following their marriage, they made their home in McAlester area and have lived here since.  For the past nine years Marsha has been a homemaker and, with her husband Delbert, have raised their granddaughter, Trinity McLennan, the joy and light of their lives.  She enjoyed family camping trips to Lake Texoma and was known for her wonderful cooking, especially her homemade salsa and omelets.  Through the years, she worked at several local businesses that included: Sav-A-Lot grocery store, E-Z mart convenience store, Komar Manufacturing and the Army Ammunition Plant.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Delbert Ellis; a granddaughter, Trinity McLennan; brothers, Darrel Elliott and wife Debbie, Robby Elliott, Johnny Elliott and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her 2 sons, Gene and Sammy Graham; a brother, Billy Elliott; and a sister, Janiella Boots.
