Obituary

Mark Alan Giaudrone was born November 27, 1957 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Jack and Violet Giaudrone are Mark's parents. Mark became a big brother to Kimberly several years later. He took special care of her, and she did the same for him.
Mark was a patriot, serving six years in the United States Air Force. He said many times, it was an honor to serve this great country.
Mark was blessed with two sons, Dominic and Chase. Mark and the boy's mother, Kathy Hammers raised them to be fine men, husbands and fathers. Both Dominic and Chase along with Lindsey Giaudrone, Rachel Giaudrone and Kym Keener, shared six beautiful grandchildren with Mark; Hannah Marie, Brason, Aiden, Hailie, Bralin and Hannah Faith. His sister and brother in law, Kim and Bryan Haney, blessed him with three, amazing nephews and niece; Carson, Kendall and Keaton.
Mark was a renaissance man. He played the guitar as well as other instruments. He enjoyed working with leather, making authentic, western gun holsters and sheaths for knives. As far as Mark was concerned, Ford was the only brand of automobile worth driving and Harley Davidson was the only kind of motorcycle worth riding. He also had a love of horses, raising quarter horses with his dear friend, Larry "Crash" Downs. Mark had many friends he loved throughout the years; Glenn Sutterfield and Mike Hill, to name a couple. Mark enjoyed watching wrestling, westerns, and Svengoolie. He also loved The Flintstones and Scooby Doo. Mark loved dogs and had many throughout his life.
Mark had a successful career as a Landman, working with companies like Exxon, Apache and BP. He worked closely with landowners helping prepare for oil and natural gas drilling.
Mark met Amy Johns in the late 80s. The timing wasn't right for either of them and soon they decided to go separate ways. However, in 2013, the two found their way back to each other and were married in September 2014. Amy has one daughter, Lauren, and in 2018, she and her husband Dylan blessed Mark and Amy with another granddaughter, Olivia Jane.
Mark had aunts, uncles and cousins who he loved deeply. He also formed lasting relationships with many work colleagues over the years.
Mark passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 7, 2023. There will be a visitation at Brumley Mills Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 15th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Venue, located at 312 Choctaw in downtown McAlester on Thursday, February 16th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
