Lois Mullins, 97, of McAlester, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, in McAlester.  Viewing will be Thursday and Friday and funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28, at 10:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Arpelar Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Sammy Padgett, Joe Bennett, Carl Bennett, Donald Williams, Roger Mullins, and Brentlee Padgett.

Lois Mullins was born on Dec. 9, 1925 in Pittsburg County to Oscar and Lucie (Dement) Mullins.  She has lived in McAlester all her life.

Lois is survived by her son, Elton Mullins; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Marzell Owens and Ella Butler and husband R. C.; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Paul Mullins and wife Marilynn; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Levi Mullins; 4 brothers, Kenneth, R. L., Doyle, and Charles Mullins; 5 sisters, Lolita Bennett, Leona Kroening, Dorothy Mullins, Pauline Curry, Novell Williams; 5 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law; and a few nieces and nephews.
