Lillian D. Fite, 82, of Hartshorne, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025 at her home with her family at her side.

Funeral services are set for Wednesday, January 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in Hartshorne.

Lillian Fite was born on August 25, 1942 in McAlester to Earl H. Rhodes and Jessie M. (Ramsey) Rhodes.  The daughter of a preacher, she grew up all around this area and has lived in Hartshorne since the 1970's.  She grew up playing the piano for her father's churches and continued playing her whole life.  She married Alva Fite on March 8, 1957 and they raised their family in Hartshorne.  Lillian was a h0omemaker, but since her husband was in the used car business, she was the bookkeeper for many years.  Other than playing the piano, her favorite past-time was spending time with her family.  She was a long-time member of the Haileyville Assembly of God Church.

Lillian is survived by her 2 daughters, Pamela Kay Rivas and Johnny Rivas, III, and Judy Faye Robinson and C.W.; grandchildren, Angela Anderson and Dennis, Sabrina Gragg and fiancé Jeremy Pierce, and Jarrod Schoggins and Mandi; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald Wayne Rhodes and Delores; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce Sisk and Rodger; a half-sister, Dean Key; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva, on March 30, 2020; her parents; a brother, Raymond Rhodes; a grandson, Anson Schoggins; and her grandparents, Joe and Lottie Rhodes and Frank and Eva Ramsey.
