Kristi Gale Hollis, 56, of Hartshorne, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, at her mother's  home after a short battle with cancer.  Viewing will be Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Graveside funeral services are set for Monday, Dec. 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion in Hartshorne.  Pallbearers are Jeremy Beck, Laren Robison, Kyle Robison, James Riley, Gayla Lloyd, and Nathan Haikey.

Kristi Gale Hollis was born on Oct. 23, 1967 in McAlester to Everett Hollis and Shirley (Hollis) Echols.  She grew up in Hartshorne and graduated from Hartshorne High School with the class of 1985.  Growing up she played ball and competed in barrel racing.  She attended Eastern State College in Wilburton, before earning her CNA certification from KTC in McAlester.  She worked for many years in nursing homes and home health.  Kristi was kind, compassionate, loving, caring, funny, and artistic, and loved all animals, especially her pet Dachshund, Roxanne.  She also enjoyed gardening, music, the beach, cooking, riding her bike, going to yard sales and flea markets.

Kristi is survived by her husband, Eric Larimore of Melbourne, Fl.; children, Keaton Moody and Casey, and Clayton Moody and T. J. Ramos; grandchildren, Kolter, Klancie, and Kodie Moody; her mother, Shirley Echols; and 3 sisters, Debi Beck, Jan Robison, and Sandy Haikey; nephews, Jeremy Beck, Nathan Haikey, Laren Robison, Kyle Robison; and her beloved fur-baby, Roxanne  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Hollis, and her father, Everett Hollis.
