Johnnie Beatrice (Battles) Patty was born September 2 ^nd 1931 in Higgins, Oklahoma to John Mariam Battles and Annie May (Chester) Battles. She died February 16 ^th 2023 at Walnut Grove Living Center in McAlester.  Services will be held Saturday, March 4 ^th at 2:00 at the First Baptist Church in Kiowa, Oklahoma with Pastor Kenny Morrow officiating.  Burial will follow at Kiowa Cemetery under the direction of Brumley Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Pallbearers will be Ty Green, Lorne Green, Dewayne Brown, Chris Tucker, Don Southard and Sherman Southard.

She attended school at Higgins and Hartshorne Oklahoma. She was married to Clarence Green and later to Danial Hill Patty on March10, 1967 in Eufaula Oklahoma. She worked at St Mary's Hospital and McAlester Regional Hospital as a certified operating room technician and OB tech, as a nurse aid and bakery cook for a total 31 years, retiring in 1997. She was a resident of Kiowa for 55 years. She enjoyed gardening, painting, quilting, visiting with family and friends. She attended the First Baptist Church of Kiowa for 50+ years and occasionally the First Baptist Church of Pittsburg to listen to her friend Kenny Morrow. She was of Choctaw decent and proud of it. She was Baptized at the age of 14 or 15 at Gaines Creek at Higgins.

She was survived by her children, Wayne Green & wife Niki of AZ, Danny Green of OK, Katherine Rudie & husband Pete of WA, Deb Wetherbee of OR, Joni Horak & husband Jeff of OR, Johnny Patty & wife Margaret of OK; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a very special step-son Kenneth Patty of MO along with his daughters Peggy, Tammy, Theresa and Jennifer of AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan Patty; sister, Lois Southard & husband Jack; two grandsons, Bradley Green and Timothy Patty; three half-brothers and two half-sisters.
