Joan Graham, 75, of Canadian, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 in McAlester.  A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Crowder, with David Lennox officiating.

Joan Graham was born on December 3, 1946 in Norman, Oklahoma to John and Bobbie (Comp) Gallagher.  She grew up mainly in the Altus area, and married Richard Graham on November 15, 1969 at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.  Because Richard was a career military man, they lived in many different places.  After his retirement, they have made their home in Canadian since 2012.  Joan enjoyed boating and fishing and taking care of her yard at home.  She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.  Joan had worked as a service representative for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for a number of years.

Joan is survived by her husband, Richard Graham; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Joy Graham, Keith and Katie Graham, and Michael and Patsy Graham; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, James Gallagher, Robert Gallagher, and Patrick Gallagher; and 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Anne Gallagher Altom and Bud, and Helen Gallagher Mason and Clay sister-in-law, Judy Altom Gallagher.

Preceded in death by her parents, John H. Gallagher SR and Bobbie Comp Gallagher; grandparents, John and Nora Welch Gallagher, Laverne A. and Helen Jones Comp; brother, John H. Gallagher Jr.
