Obituary

Jessie Marie (Lowe) Gragg, 89, of Hartshorne, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her home.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.  Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartshorne with Rev. Clint Pope and Tommy McCullar officiating.  Burial will follow at Mountain Station Cemetery in the Higgins community.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma Heart, 721 S. George Nigh Expy, McAlester, OK 74501, the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists, 901 N. Strong, McAlester, OK 74501 or Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartshorne.  Active pallbearers will be George Gragg, Glenn Gragg, Randy Williamson, Colby Welch, Joshua Long, Dean Bittman and Gary Cartlidge.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Bittman, R.J. Huff, Shawn Coffey, Ty Coffey and Gage Coffey.

She was born on August 4, 1931 in Gowen, Oklahoma to John Frank and Rosemond Mae (Key) Lowe.  She married Lora Gordon Gragg on March 8, 1951 in Louisiana.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and puzzles.  She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartshorne and before that was a member of the Haileyville Christian Church.

She is survived by her children and spouses, George Gragg of Hartshorne, OK, Paula Gragg of Hartshorne, OK, Allen and Kathy Gragg of Stigler, OK, Glenn Gragg of Collinsville, OK, Lesia Gragg of Hartshorne, OK and Joy Gragg of Hartshorne, OK; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Essie Echelle of McAlester, OK and Priscilla Wells of Nebraska; sister-in-law, Kathaleen Lowe of Gowen, OK and Perl Lowe of Colorado; sons-in-law, Randy Williamson of McAlester, OK and Dennis Bittman of Shattuck, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lora Gragg; daughters, Susan Marie Williamson and Karen Anne Bittman; granddaughter, Gayle Gragg; grandson, Stephen Gragg; her parents; brothers, Frank Lowe, Reg Lowe, Adam Lowe and Aaron Lowe.
