Jesse Wayne Bryant, 34, of McAlester, passed away on September 28, 2023.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jesse Wayne Bryant was born on March 6, 1989, in McAlester.  He grew up in the McAlester area and graduated from Indianola High School in 2007.  He then joined the U.S. Navy and served his country, receiving his honorable discharge.  He returned to McAlester and went to work.  He worked at OK Tires, Big V Feed, Spirit, and DuraLine.  Jesse was a history guru, and could speak on just about any historical subject.  He enjoyed going hunting and fishing, loved baseball and football, and everything OU.  He was a member of Frink Baptist Church.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Taran; his parents, Ken and Sandra Adkins; a brother and sister-in-law, Rowdy Bryant and Brianna; 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law, Hanna Caywood and Jake, and Taylor Dodd and Kyle, and Caitlyn Adkins; grandmothers, Billie Earhart, Carol Bryant, and Lee Adkins; and several nieces and nephews. Jesse had four children. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Tom Bryant, and grandfathers, Dalton Earhart, John Bryant, and Kenneth Adkins.
