Jerry Gilreath, 78, of Hartshorne, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home.

Jerry was born on March 12, 1943 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Dempsey and Ola Mae (Smith) Gilreath.  He married Othelee Baldwin on June 23, 1960 in Poteau, Oklahoma.  He served in the United States Navy on the USS Prairie (AD15) Destroyer during the Vietnam Era.  He was a building contractor and member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hartshorne.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Othelee (Baldwin) Gilreath of Hartshorne, OK; daughter, Shelly Marie Gilreath-Fontenot of Hartshorne, OK; grandchildren, Benjamin Williams, Jerica Trueblood and Chyann Friday; great-grandchildren, Jaylie Trueblood and Memphis Ray Friday; sister, Linda Grammar and special cousin, Donnie Wilson.

He was preceded in death his parents; daughter, Kathy Vickers and granddaughter, Ariel Honeywell.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First Assembly of God Church in Hartshorne with Pastor Paul Butler officiating, assisted by Pastor Scott Horstman.
