Jerrie grew up in Stigler, Oklahoma playing in the beauty shop of her mother Lou and barbershop of her loving dad Clarence who deemed her the name "Squeaky" because of her small but fierce stature. She roamed around town playing neighborhood games with her friends and siblings Sherry and Terry.
She earned her G.E.D. in 1983 while her daughter, Vanessa, was five years old. Jerrie began her career of compassion in 1984 through the employment at the Youth Emergency Shelter while serving as the childcare worker supervisor. Upon the birth of her sons Trevor and Hayden she opened a home daycare where she forged everlasting relationships with the kids under her care. She continued her passion for helping kids with the employment at Will Rogers Elementary school as a special needs teacher assistant in 1998 where she remained for the next decade.
Jerrie married her soulmate Greg on September 27th, 1985 and enjoyed 38 years of quintessential love and friendship.
Jerrie enjoyed weekend camping trips at the lake and wrestling tournaments with her family. She also enjoyed antique hunting and do-it-yourself projects that revolved around gardening and interior decorating. Jerrie had a particular passion for garage sales and weekend escapes into the outdoors with husband Greg. She loved dancing the night away to the music of the Urban Cowboy soundtrack and favorite group Alabama with her husband. Jerrie loved two-stepping with both of her sons. She shared a unique and special relationship with her daughter, Vanessa, which blossomed beyond mother/daughter and grew into a valued friendship between the two creating an inseparable bond.
She was so many things that are hard to define with words, but loving mother, loving wife, "Squeaky", and loving "Nana J" were descriptions of the ones that were closest to her.
Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Lou Warren; and father/mother in law John and Judy Cathey.
