Jeffrey "Big Country" Caldwell, 60, of McAlester, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at McAlester Regional Health Center.  The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday, July 25, at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services are set for Friday, July 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Life Church.  There will be no cemetery services.

Jeffrey "Big Country" Caldwell was born on January 17, 1964 in Altus, Oklahoma to William and Helen Caldwell.  He and Brenda Sue Brewer were married on September 3, 2020 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.   He has been working at Sam Wampler's Freedom Ford in McAlester as Fleet and Commercial Manager for over 9 years.  Jeffrey was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting.  He also had a huge interest in Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and gear, a passion that came second only to his love for his family.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kim Fuller.  He is survived by his wife, Brenda Caldwell; a son, Cory Caldwell; a daughter, Amber Caldwell; grandchildren, P. J. Caldwell, Rainee Bennett, Arley Bennett, and Nekota Bennett; and cousins Kelly McCullough, Jon Crawford, Gary Crawford, and Kristie Crawford Gaines.
