Jeffery "Jeff" Allan McAbee, 69, of Dow, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at his home.

Jeff was born on October 21, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Jefferson and Jessie Marie (Fielding) McAbee. He served in the United States Army. He retired from the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester and enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles. He was an avid reader and enjoyed video games.

Survivors include his daughter, Thera Loyd of Chickasha, OK; son, Shawn McAbee of Washington, DC; daughter, Misty Brace and husband Curtis of Bridge Creek, OK; daughter, Melanie Bryer and husband Brett of Mustang, OK; sister-in-law, Bonnie Reiser of McAlester; sister, Mendy and Rick Guill of Frederick, OK; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and VaLinda McAbee of Spring, TX, Billy and Sharon May of Farewell, TX, Steve and Stasha May of Frederick, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deedee and Virgil Coleman of Frederick, OK, Jennifer and Brad Caporelle of Frederick, OK; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie May; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Rodney Payne; and a brother, Tim May.
