Jean Barnes, 70, of the Lynnwood community, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Beare Manor in Hartshorne, Oklahoma.

Jean was born on June 29, 1951 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Joseph Wallace and Armista (Matthiews) Kline.  She married Ronnie Barnes on December 18, 1971 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and David Sexton of Hartshorne, OK; son and daughter-in-law, Deanie and Keri Barnes of Hartshorne, OK; four grandchildren, Colton Mattioda, Tyler Mattioda, Jordan Mattioda and Wyatt Barnes; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Brian Kline and a sister, Gay Kline.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Barnes; daughter, Tara Armista Barnes; parents, Armista and J.W. Kline and a brother, Courtney Dale Kline.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Elmwood Cemetery Pavilion in Hartshorne.  Burial will follow.
