Janice Mangrum, 76, of Canadian, passed away Sunday, May 18, at McAlester Regional Health Center.  No Services are planned at this time.

Janice Mangrum was born on Aug. 5, 1948 in Talihina to George and Lodene (Cogburn) Files.  She grew up in Albion and then went to nursing school and received her Registered Nurses Certification.  She worked as a traveling nurse for many years; her last stop being in Anchorage, Alaska, where she stayed several years, before coming home for good 20 years ago.  When she was home, she loved to garden, growing beautiful flowers each year.

Janice is survived by her twin daughters, Stephanie Hall-Adams and Alisa Meeks; a grandchild, Taylor Adams, and a great grandchild, Malia; a sister, Carolyn Allen; and a nephew, Michael Allen.
