Janet C. "Ann" Moody, 86, of McAlester, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Ann was born on December 29, 1937 in Duns, Scotland to Cyril Raymond and Agnes (Reid) Dawes. She was a CNA at Mitchell Manor in McAlester for many years and then later at McAlester Regional Health Center. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends, futbol, and she was a professional at bossing people around.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Williams; niece and nephew, Robert and Joann Haile; great-nieces, Kara and Matt Henry, and Khloe Haile; many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Margaret Haile; brother, Raymond Dawes; son, Dwight Moody and a niece, Linda Haile.
