Janet M. Haskins, 72, of Claremore, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at her home.

She was born on March 29, 1950 in Turnback, Missouri, a rural area near Mt. Vernon to Allen and Julia C. (Justus) Goodman. She married Mark Haskins on June 16, 1991 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma.  As a child she helped her dad junk out cars.  She loved training horses and helped take care of a ranch in the Jack Fork area for the Baptist Association.  She worked for the Bank of Oklahoma for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Haskins; daughter, Tiffanny Richert; 2 grandchildren, Kerri Neal and Nicholas Richert; her brothers and sisters, Gustus "G.A." Allen Goodman, Mary Carolyn Goodman, Jimmie Franklin Goodman and Mike Kelly Goodman; 15 nieces and 11 nephews; one sister-in-law, Shirley James Haskins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Bonnie Keith; brothers-in-law, Terry Haskins, Wally Haskins, Donnie Haskins and Ronnie Haskins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Anthony Meadors; sisters and brothers, Willa May Goodman, Andy Goodman, Shirley Sue Ann Goodman and Arthur Bryon Goodman; 2 nieces and 4 nephews.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in Hartshorne with Dwyla Smart officiating. Burial will follow at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery in Bache, Oklahoma.
