James Allen Gammill, 56, of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at McAlester Regional Health Center.

The family will receive friends for a viewing on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester.

James was born on December 19, 1968 in Calico Rock, Arkansas to Max and Ruby (Lawrence) Gammill. He married Beth Childers on December 16, 2001 in Mountain View, Arkansas. He worked 19 years for the USA Compression company. He enjoyed fishing and working on trucks.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Gammill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua and Danielle Greenfield, Jarred and Madilyn Gammill; grandchildren, Emma Gammill, Riley Gammill, Spencer Greenfield, and Marie Greenfield; nieces, Whitney Pipkin and Ashley Jones; and nephew, Johnny Gammill.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jordyn Greenfield; parents, Max and Ruby Gammill; and a brother, Michael Gammill.
